Fleurie – this is what comes to mind when spring is here, and everything is blooming, growing, and flourishing. And even though name of this beautiful cru Beaujolais has nothing to do with nature, delicate bouquet, floral flavors, and silky texture of its wine make it number one choice for spring and early summer drinking.
Ice wine is a type of dessert wine produced from grapes that have been frozen while still on the vine. It’s intensely flavored wine, that can be made from different types of grapes (red and white).
The holiday season is a perfect time for the apple sparkling. It’s light, refreshing, pairs well with food and inexpensive. I’ve recently tried Comsi Comsa apple crisp by Sauvage and absolutely loved it.
